About the Author

Robert Gant is an author, speaker, teacher, devoted husband, and father with a deep passion for the presence of God and a desire to see lives transformed through an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

Robert and his wife, Lesley, have been married since 2011 and live in Detroit, Michigan, where they are raising their four daughters, Riley, Zoey, Karley, and Bailey. Family is at the heart of Robert’s life, and being a husband and father is one of his greatest joys. His faith, family, and ministry are deeply connected by a desire to see the love of Christ impact the generations to come.

Robert is the author of The Lord’s Fast: The Lie. The Influence. The Revelation., his first self-published book dedicated to the pursuit of the Lord’s presence. Through his writing and teaching, Robert challenges believers to look beyond religious tradition and rediscover the biblical purpose and power of fasting, not simply as an act of discipline, but as a means of drawing nearer to God.

At the heart of Robert’s message is a conviction that a fasting church is rising. He believes God is awakening His people to a deeper hunger for His presence and calling the Church to lay aside comfort, compromise, and distraction in pursuit of Jesus. His ministry carries a prophetic burden to expose deception, awaken spiritual hunger, and call believers back to prayer, fasting, intimacy, and wholehearted devotion to Christ.

Robert and Lesley also lead Because of His Love Outreach, a boots-on-the-ground nonprofit ministry in Detroit, committed to bringing love, hope, and empowerment to the next generation. Through practical outreach and community ministry, they seek to meet people where they are and demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Above all, Robert desires to see his family, the Church, and generations to come encounter Jesus in a way that produces lasting transformation. Whether through writing, teaching, speaking, or ministry, his message remains centered on one pursuit: knowing Christ and making His presence known.
